Thorpe Park

Now many of us love a good theme park (hint hint including me) and this year post exams a lovely bunch of friends organised for a group of us to go to Thorpe Park and it actually happened. I usually have little faith in friends when it comes to organising trips as such (#whatsappgroupchatplanhorror) but they pulled it all together and it happened.

So the first Tuesday after exams had finished (woohoo freedom) we all got on the tube and began the (lengthy) journey to Surrey. Once we got to the actual park it was all excitement and we all ran around everywhere trying to get on as many rides as possible - Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Rush, Swarm etc. The day was full of laughter and sore feet and as we got back to Waterloo we caught the tube in which probably all of us were forced to keep our faces in a stranger's pits (if you're a Londoner you know what the tube is like around rush hour or you just know what the tube is like).

All in all it was a super fun day and I just want to put out there that your summer is what you make of it (speaking especially to year elevens that have college/sixth form ahead of them as this is your last real, relaxing and long summer) so have days out with your friends as much as possible and do things - I'm not one to really talk I can't lie but what's wrong with a bit of encouragement.

This was 2014 - slightly less demonic looking than the recent one pictured below.
